Manchester is the centre of gravity for our ecconomy and culture and the train ...is the obvious way to travel. Glossop has become increasingly isolated and under-served with its lack of a public hall and a library that would be a disgrace for a small village. As a pensioner I depend on the Gold Card discount to afford the journey to the city.
