At a meeting of Derbyshire County Council's cabinet on the 2nd August, proposals were put forward by the Conservative led administration of the county council to make cuts to the current level of gritting provided across the county.
Given the problems that were experienced last year, you would have expected proposals to improve the service rather than cut it.
